High-yielding female flowering cucumber hybrid "Beit Alpha", mini type. Early maturing. Strong, healthy plant with an open habit. Continues to bear fruit even under extremely unfavorable growing conditions. Average fruit length ranges from 16-18 cm, length/width ratio is 4.0: 1. Fruits are very uniform, straight and cylindrical, smooth and highly attractive, with a medium-dark green coloration. Highly tolerant to heat and produces high-quality yields. Resistant to downy mildew (serogroup 1, intermediate resistance) and powdery mildew (IR). Although Safa F1 is suitable for cultivation on trellises, it is primarily used for cultivation in open ground or tunnel-type covers. Excellent variety for fresh market sales as well as for processing.
