Cucumber Peresvet

Stability and Quality: Why Professionals Choose «Peresvet»

In the greenhouse vegetable sector, the key to success is predictable results. The «Peresvet» cucumber from Aelita Agrofirm is a choice for those who value reliability. This indeterminate parthenocarpic variety was developed by a team of breeders (N.V. Nastenko, V.G. Kachaynik, M.N. Gulkin) as a specialized solution for indoor cultivation.

Key Advantages

• Disease Resistance: The variety shows high immunity to downy mildew and effectively resists powdery mildew, which is critical in the high-humidity conditions of greenhouses.
• Market Standards: Fruits weighing 120–130 grams have a smooth surface and a deep green color. The absence of spikes and warts makes them highly attractive for retail sales.
• Parthenocarpy: Since it does not require insect pollination, you can grow this crop in any type of greenhouse, ensuring stable yields even under adverse environmental conditions.

Who is this variety for?

«Peresvet» is optimal for professional growers and garden owners who prioritize premium-looking marketable produce. Its main feature is the combination of low maintenance and classic cucumber flavor. Unlike many modern cluster-bearing hybrids, this variety focuses on fruit size and aesthetic appeal. A minor drawback is the need for pruning an indeterminate vine, which requires basic greenhouse management skills. Nevertheless, the predictable fruit weight and resistance to major greenhouse pathogens make «Peresvet» a reliable workhorse for your growing season.
