Cucumber Nastenka

Reliable Yields in Diverse Conditions

The «Nastenka» cucumber from SSF «Partenokarpik» is designed for growers who prioritize consistency and ease of management. As a parthenocarpic hybrid, it does not rely on insect pollination, making it an excellent choice for both greenhouse systems and open-field cultivation.

Agronomic Strengths and Plant Health

The vegetative plant type ensures robust leaf development, which acts as a protective layer against heat stress. A key commercial advantage is the hybrid's genetic resistance to downy mildew (peronosporosis) and its effective tolerance to powdery mildew. This resilience allows for a reduced need for intensive fungicide programs, saving time and operational costs.

Market-Ready Fruit Quality

The fruits of «Nastenka» are engineered to meet strict market demands:

• Size: 10–12 cm, which is the standard size for fresh market produce.
• Weight: 100–110 grams, providing uniform and convenient handling.
• Appearance: A deep, dark green color with distinct coarse warts ensures an attractive visual presentation for consumers.

Choosing «Nastenka» means opting for a predictable harvest. The fruits maintain their firmness during transport and storage, keeping them fresh and visually appealing from harvest to the point of sale.
