Motiva F1

Motiva F1 is an early-maturing parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid that does not require pollination and is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. The plant is indeterminate with unlimited central stem growth and medium-spreading form. 3 to 5 fruits form at each node, allowing to harvest up to 5-6 kg of crisp gherkins per plant per season. Leaves are green, slightly corrugated, and 15-20 fruits develop simultaneously on the plant, ripening gradually.

Motiva F1 fruits have an oval-cylindrical shape, 10-13 cm long and weighing 110-130 g. They are matte green with barely visible stripes and medium ribbing, covered with white down. Gherkins have an elegant shape, are not prone to overgrowth, and do not form voids in the seed cavity, which is especially important for pickling and marinating. In terms of taste and aroma, the hybrid does not fall short of traditional old Russian cucumber varieties.

The hybrid has a strong root system and well-developed vegetative apparatus, ensuring high resistance to stress conditions such as temperature and light fluctuations. Motiva F1 is resistant to cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) and powdery mildew (PM). Recommended planting density is 2.5-3 plants per square meter. Fruits retain freshness and market appearance for a long time, making this hybrid attractive for both commercial and personal cultivation.
