KOCHIBA

Kochiba is a mid-season parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid intended for salad use. The plant is medium-height and moderately branched, with predominantly female flowers, each node producing one to three fruits. Leaves are medium-sized and dark green, while the cucumbers have a cylindrical shape, smooth surface, and dark green hue. Fruit length ranges from 19 to 20 cm, weight 150–170 g, ensuring excellent taste and high product quality. Yield reaches 10.8 kg per square meter, and resistance to diseases such as cucumber mosaic virus and powdery mildew makes this hybrid a reliable choice for cultivation. A key feature of Kochiba is its stable yield across various climatic conditions, including low and high temperatures. A robust root system supports strong plant growth and development, enabling successful cultivation in early spring and late autumn, even under reduced light.
