Cucumber MEGAPOLIS

Cucumber variety Megapolis is a self-pollinating hybrid capable of forming fruit set without insect assistance, significantly simplifying cultivation. This variety exhibits high resistance to stress conditions and diseases, making it suitable for cultivation both in open ground and greenhouses. Megapolis is ideal for fresh consumption as well as processing — canning, pickling, and salting, thanks to its good taste and fruit quality.

For successful cultivation of Megapolis cucumbers, vertical supports such as plastic cucumber netting with 15×18 mm mesh are especially recommended. Such netting ensures secure fixation of plant tendrils, promotes good light and air access, preventing fruit rot and increasing yield. The netting material is resistant to ultraviolet radiation, moisture, and temperature fluctuations, allowing its repeated use both in greenhouses and on open beds.

Growing Megapolis cucumbers is possible even on a balcony, provided suitable lighting, warmth, and humidity conditions are created. This variety is adapted for urban conditions, enabling fresh and tasty homegrown cucumbers even in limited spaces. This approach allows enjoying natural vegetables grown independently, regardless of megapolis conditions.
