Cucumber Megalith is an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid, intended for salad use. The plant is indeterminate, medium-branched with a female flowering type, and predominantly two female flowers form at each node. The leaf blade has medium length and dark green color. The fruit is short, cylindrical, dark green with short stripes, finely ribbed, covered with hairs and white spines. The average fruit weight is about 113 grams, and the flavor is of high quality. The Megalith hybrid is characterized by high commercial yield, reaching 15.3 kg per square meter in glasshouse conditions during the summer-autumn cycle in the III light zone. These characteristics make it attractive for cultivation in protected ground, ensuring a stable and high-quality cucumber harvest for salad use. The variety's features include its parthenocarpy, enabling fruit production without pollination, as well as resistance to typical greenhouse cultivation conditions. The dark green color and finely ribbed surface with white spines give the cucumbers an attractive appearance, while their compact size is convenient for consumption and processing.
