F1 Mazay — a very early maturing parthenocarpic hybrid with female or predominantly female flowering, featuring comprehensive disease resistance. Intended for cultivation in spring greenhouses, tunnels, and in southern regions — also in open ground. Early maturing, sun-loving, with high initial parthenocarpy. Branching is limited. Distinguished by massive yield, simultaneous fruiting of a large number of zucchini (up to 6-8) on the plant without loss of their market quality. Forms 1-2 fruits per node. Some internodes may be closely spaced, causing fruits on the stem to appear like 'garlands'. Zucchini are warty, white-stemmed, with moderate pubescence, 10-12 cm long; high flavor and pickling qualities. The hybrid is resistant to powdery mildew, olive spot, and common cucumber mosaic virus, tolerant to false powdery mildew, and root rot.
Planting density in greenhouses: 2.5 plants/m2, in open ground: 3-5 plants/m2.
