Description Madrilene
Cucumber Madrilene F1 — an ultra-early parthenocarpic hybrid of the cornichon type, intended for cultivation under protected conditions such as greenhouses and solariums, as well as in open fields. Plants have medium growth vigor, short internodes, and an excellent balance between vegetative and generative development. The hybrid is characterized by shade tolerance, resistance to low temperatures, and good adaptability to various climatic conditions, including thermal stress and temperature fluctuations. Thanks to its strong root system and ability to tolerate saline soils, Madrilene F1 adapts well to adverse environmental factors.

The fruits of this cucumber have a uniform cylindrical shape, 9–13 cm long, with prominent spines and dark green color. They feature dense, juicy, crisp flesh without bitterness, which retains its qualities during processing. Fruit weight is approximately 90–100 g. Cucumbers do not overgrow throughout the entire vegetation period, ensuring consistent product quality. High fruit density contributes to their excellent transportability and long storage life, making the hybrid profitable for commercial cultivation and marketing.

Madrilene F1 exhibits high resistance to several diseases, including cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), powdery mildew (Podosphaera xanthii), and cladosporiosis (Cladosporium cucumerinum). These traits, combined with high yield and stable quality, make this hybrid a popular choice for cultivation under various climatic conditions. Cucumbers are suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, and canning, expanding their usability.
