Knyazhna

Cucumber Knyazhna — an early-maturing, bee-pollinated hybrid, intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic coverings. The ripening period is 40–45 days, allowing harvest as early as late spring. The plant is vigorous, medium-branched, with predominantly female flowering, which contributes to high yield and fruit quality.

Knyazhna’s cucumbers are short, cylindrical, 8–10 cm long, weighing 70–120 g. They have a medium-bumpy surface with medium-length green stripes and white spines. The fruits have a small seed cavity, making them especially appealing for fresh consumption and canning. The skin is bumpy, characteristic of this hybrid.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to diseases such as olive spot and false powdery mildew, ensuring stable and high yields. In open ground, the yield reaches 5 kg per square meter, and in plastic greenhouses — 10–13 kg per square meter.
