Cucumber Kalinka F1

Kalinka F1 — an early-maturing parthenocarpic cucumber hybrid, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under cover. Plants have medium growth vigor and moderate branching, ensuring ease of care and harvesting. Predominantly female flowering, requiring no pollination, which allows for a stable yield even in the absence of insect pollinators. The period from emergence to first fruiting is about 45-50 days, making the variety attractive for early harvest. Kalinka F1 fruits have a cylindrical shape with a vibrant green color and large white-spined bumps, which are densely arranged. The length of the cucumbers reaches 35-40 cm, weight — up to 300 g. The flesh is juicy, without bitterness, providing excellent taste and crisp texture. Seeds are small, and there are no hollows in the fruits, making them ideal for fresh consumption. Due to their flavor and aroma, Kalinka F1 cucumbers are perfect for making fresh salads. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases, including cladosporiosis (brown spot), common mosaic disease, root rots, and powdery mildew. This significantly reduces the need for chemical protection and enhances the ecological safety of cultivation. The versatility of the variety allows the fruits to be used not only fresh but also for preservation, expanding their applications in home gardening.
