WHITON

Colored cauliflower Whiton F1 — a medium-early hybrid developed by breeders of Sakata (Japan), intended for cultivation under various agroclimatic conditions in Ukraine. This hybrid is suitable for spring-summer and autumn seasons, grown using seedling method in open ground or under temporary covers. The vegetative period is approximately 65-75 days from transplanting seedlings to harvest, allowing early production in May, June, July, and October. The plant exhibits high plasticity, upright growth form, and rapid adaptation after transplanting, contributing to stable productivity even under increased air temperature.

Whiton F1 cauliflower heads are bright white, dense, and dome-shaped without hairs, making them attractive to consumers and suitable for processing. Head weight varies from 1 to 2.5 kg. The plant is well-covered with leafy canopy, providing excellent head coverage, protecting it from sunburn and other adverse factors.
