Cucumber DO CHAROCHKY

DO CHAROCHKY: A Premium Choice for Pickling and Fresh Markets

Registered in 2025, the F1 hybrid "DO CHAROCHKY," developed by Zhanna Mykolaivna Vovk, is a new standard for growers seeking high marketability and consistent yields. This early-maturing variety is designed to perform efficiently, providing high-quality produce early in the season.

Culinary Versatility and Market Appeal

The fruits are characterized by medium length and a small diameter, making them the perfect size for whole-fruit pickling. The small core-to-fruit diameter ratio ensures that the cucumbers remain firm and crisp, avoiding the hollow centers often found in other varieties. With a vibrant green color, moderate ribbing, and small, well-defined tubercles, these cucumbers offer an attractive appearance that stands out in retail displays.

• Fresh Consumption: Early maturity ensures a competitive advantage for early-season fresh market sales.
• Processing: The dense flesh and lack of wrinkling make these cucumbers ideal for high-quality pickling and brining.
• Transportability: The moderate density of the skin and balanced shape allow the fruits to maintain their market quality during transit.

The plant is of the indeterminate type with short internodes, making it well-suited for both greenhouse and open-field cultivation. Its monoecious flowering habit, with 1-2 ovaries per node, ensures a steady and predictable harvest throughout the growing season.
