Cucumber Konzert

Gastronomic Potential and Market Appeal

The «Koncert» F1 cucumber is a 2025 selection novelty from the Dutch company Rijk Zwaan, designed for those who prioritize impeccable marketability and supply stability. The hybrid is adapted for cultivation across all key agro-climatic zones of Ukraine: from the arid Steppe to the humid Polissya and Forest-Steppe regions, making it a versatile tool for farms of any scale.

Purpose and Market Quality

The primary value of this hybrid lies in its ability to maintain fruit appeal even under intensive logistics. The cucumbers have a dense consistency, ensuring excellent transportability — they do not lose firmness or deform during long-distance shipping. This makes «Koncert» an ideal choice for retail chains, where the product's appearance is the deciding factor for the consumer.

• Fresh Market: The fruits feature a rich color and uniform shape, allowing them to stand out on supermarket shelves.
• Processing: Thanks to dense flesh without cavities, these cucumbers are excellent for pickling and brining, retaining a crisp structure after heat treatment.
• Storage: The hybrid demonstrates high shelf life, allowing farmers to flexibly manage their sales schedule without fear of rapid quality loss.

By choosing «Koncert», producers secure a predictable result: high yields of marketable produce that is in demand in both the HoReCa segment and retail trade. It is a modern solution for those who value a professional approach to vegetable farming.
