Description Berlioz
Berlioz F1 is an early parthenocarpic (self-pollinating) hybrid of cornichon type, developed by the Dutch seed company Rijk Zwaan. This variety is intended for cultivation in open ground and is characterized by a bushy, open plant type with a strong and compact form. The cucumber exhibits excellent regenerative properties, ensuring abundant fruit set even under sharp temperature and air humidity fluctuations.

Berlioz F1 cucumber fruits are 10-12 cm long, have a large-warted surface, and feature a rich green skin with slight light stripes near the tip. The flesh is dense, juicy, and crunchy, with no voids, making this hybrid especially suitable for canning, pickling, and marinating. The average fruit weight is 60-80 grams, and the hybrid's commercial qualities are high due to the uniformity and attractive appearance of the fruits.

The variety is distinguished by high yield and resistance to water deficiency, sharp temperature changes, as well as to most diseases and viruses typical for open-ground cucumbers. Thanks to these qualities, Berlioz F1 is suitable for both fresh vegetable markets and processing, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest under various climatic conditions.
