Description Branina
Ogurts Baryvina F1 represents an early-maturing parthenocarpic hybrid of cornichon type, developed by the Dutch seed company Nunhems Zaden. This hybrid is characterized by high productivity and versatility, suitable for cultivation both in polyethylene greenhouses and in open ground, appropriate for first and second crops. The plant, of medium growth strength and generative type, forms the main yield on the central stem, contributing to stable and abundant fruiting.

The fruits of Baryvina cucumber have a cylindrical shape, large-beaded, and even, with a uniform dark green coloration and white stripes. When reaching a length of 10-12 cm, their growth slows down, ensuring an optimal size for consumption and processing. The flesh of the fruits remains crisp even after canning, making this hybrid especially valuable for pickling and fresh consumption. Fruit mass varies from 70 to 90 grams.

The Baryvina hybrid exhibits high resistance to diseases, including powdery mildew, cladosporiosis, and relative resistance to downy mildew. It is also shade-tolerant and resistant to saline soils, broadening its cultivation possibilities under various climatic and soil conditions. Additionally, the hybrid is characterized by good storability and enhanced transportability, making it convenient for commercial cultivation and marketing.
