Askold F1

Cucumber Askold F1 is an early, high-yielding parthenocarpic hybrid of cornichon type, developed by the Korean company NongWoo Bio. This hybrid has a short maturation period — from 40 to 45 days — allowing it to be grown both in open fields and under cover, in the first and second crops. The plant forms strong, sturdy vines and a well-developed root system, while large leaf plates effectively protect the fruits from sunburn. Due to its high resistance to adverse weather conditions and a wide range of diseases, Askold F1 is a reliable choice for farmers and gardeners.

The fruits of cucumber Askold F1 have a vibrant green color, neat shape, and length from 9 to 14 cm, with each fruit weighing approximately 100 g. The skin is large-scaled and spiny, while the inside contains juicy, crisp, and aromatic flesh without bitterness or hollows. Each flower axil produces 2 to 4 fruits, ensuring high yield — up to 10 kg per plant at optimal planting density of 3–3.5 plants per square meter. The fruit stem is large, allowing for harvesting without damaging the plant.
