DescriptionABAKAN
Ryegrass «ABAKAN» is a perennial plant with a rhizome that spreads quickly thanks to white underground shoots. Seeds germinate in March–May, and the first leaves are thread-like, slightly twisted, and often reddish-purple in shade at the base. The leaves are linear-lanceolate with small serrations on the edges and a short tongue, giving the plant a characteristic look.
The ryegrass stem is upright, smooth and round, reaching a height of 20 to more than 100 cm. Flowering occurs in June–August: inflorescences are narrow spikes with several bells arranged in two rows. After flowering, grain fruits are formed.
Ryegrass «ABAKAN» has healing properties: expectorant, anti-inflammatory and diuretic effect. A decoction from the plant helps with colds, cough, inflammation of the stomach and joints, and improves metabolism. Applied externally, ryegrass is used to treat furunculosis, eczema and other skin diseases, enhancing the effect with an internal decoction.
