Corn variety ZD 0170 is a line with intermediate kernel type, characterized by yellow-orange coloring of the upper part of the kernel and orange lower part. Medium-height plant with medium-width leaves and a slightly conical ear of medium diameter. The variety's feature is the weak or absent anthocyanic coloring of the first leaf sheath, stem roots, and silk, as well as a medium angle between leaf blade and stem. Late or very late tassel emergence, with dense kernels and medium main stem height relative to side branches. The variety is included in the State Register of the Russian Federation and recommended for cultivation in all regions of the country.
