Fredérico KWS — an early-maturing three-line hybrid corn with a vegetation period of about 92 days, developed by KWS. It is intended for grain, silage, and compound feed production, making it a versatile solution for agricultural enterprises. The hybrid is characterized by stable yield, reaching 140 ц/ha for grain and 700 ц/ha for green mass, ensuring high efficiency of land use.
One of the key features of Fredérico KWS is an excellent balance of starch and easily digestible fiber, which increases the feed value of the product. The grain is siliceous, and plants reach a height of 270–300 cm with ear attachment height of 100–110 cm. The number of rows of kernels varies from 14 to 16, and each row contains 36 to 44 kernels. The hybrid demonstrates disease resistance in field conditions, contributing to yield preservation and reduced costs for plant protection.
The recommended planting density depends on moisture conditions: under adequate moisture, the optimal density is 75–85 thousand plants per hectare, and under dry conditions — 55–65 тыс./ha. This adaptability allows the hybrid to be suited to various climatic conditions and ensures stable yield performance. Due to these characteristics, Fredérico KWS is a reliable choice for farmers focused on high-quality grain and feed production.
