Maize VNK 208 C

Versatility in Practice: The VNK 208 C Hybrid

The VNK 208 C hybrid, developed by NPO Galaktika, offers a balanced agronomic solution for producers focused on maximizing land use efficiency. Designed with flexibility in mind, this hybrid provides high productivity regardless of whether the target output is grain or silage, making it a strategic asset for diverse farming operations.

Agronomic Advantages and Technical Solutions

• Dual-Purpose Efficiency: Engineered for both high-yield grain production and high-energy silage, this hybrid ensures profitability under various market demands.
• Environmental Adaptability: The genetics provided by NPO Galaktika allow the crop to maintain stable performance despite the fluctuating climatic conditions found throughout its primary cultivation regions.
• Harvesting Performance: The architecture of the cob and uniform ripening facilitate efficient mechanical harvesting, which significantly reduces grain loss and mechanical damage during the threshing process.

The practical value of VNK 208 C lies in its physiological resilience. During the grain maturation phase, the hybrid exhibits rapid moisture release, a critical feature that lowers post-harvest processing costs and energy consumption. For the silage segment, the structural integrity of the plant—specifically the optimal ratio between leaf mass and cob volume—ensures a high-energy feed profile, which is essential for maximizing livestock nutritional outcomes. This synergy between grain quality and biomass energy makes VNK 208 C a robust choice for modern agricultural systems.
