Maize UNI4211

The hybrid corn UNI4211 is a mid-late silage type with high yield potential and significant starch content in the grain. Plants reach a height of 290 to 345 cm, with 14-16 rows of dent kernels and 36 to 48 kernels per row. Ear attachment height is 110-135 cm, facilitating harvesting and processing. This hybrid exhibits good drought resistance and can develop up to 14 leaves above the ear, ensuring effective photosynthesis and plant development.

UNI4211 is recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones, including the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe regions. The optimal soil temperature for sowing is no less than 9°C. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture: 55-65 thousand plants per hectare under insufficient moisture, and 65-70 thousand under adequate moisture. The hybrid demonstrates a wide harvest window, allowing adaptation of harvest timing to specific agroclimatic conditions.

Green mass yield at 70% moisture, based on data from various regions of Ukraine in 2020-2021, ranges from 51.8 to 90.67 tons per hectare, indicating stable productivity of the hybrid. High starch content in the grain makes this variety especially valuable for silage use, providing high-quality feed for livestock. Thus, UNI4211 is a reliable choice for farmers focused on achieving high yields of silage corn with good adaptability to various growing conditions.
