Ronaldinho is a medium-maturing, three-line hybrid of corn with a broad usage direction and FAO 210-230. It belongs to the Best4MILK family and was registered in 2011. This hybrid is characterized by high plasticity and stable grain and silage yields across various soil types, making it a standard in the group of medium-maturing intensive hybrids. The plant height reaches up to 290 cm, and the first ear is located at a height of 100-110 cm above the soil surface.
Ronaldinho is characterized by rapid early growth and high cold tolerance, allowing it to withstand spring temperature drops well. The hybrid forms sufficient vegetative mass and provides a grain yield of 81-83%. Under intensive cultivation and adequate moisture, it is possible to form up to two ears per stalk. The potential yield reaches 14 tons per hectare, with a 1000-grain weight of 320-330 grams and a grain protein content of 9-10%.
The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe zones, including the regions of Chernivtsi, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, and Chernihiv. It is suitable for producing grain, silage, compound feed, and biogas. The optimal planting density before harvest is 70-90 thousand plants per hectare, depending on moisture levels. Due to its universal characteristics and stable yield, Ronaldinho is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality, multi-purpose corn crops.
