The hybrid corn Romashka SV is a simple early-maturing three-line intensive type hybrid with a grain usage orientation. The plant reaches a height of 240-270 cm and has about 15 leaves on the main stem, with weak bushiness. The ear is nearly cylindrical, 18-22 cm long, containing 16-20 rows of kernels, with 47-52 kernels per row. Kernel type is dent, with a 1000-kernel weight of 270-310 g. The hybrid is characterized by high resistance to lodging, diseases, drought, and cold tolerance, ensuring stable yields under various climatic conditions. The yield potential of Romashka SV reaches up to 15 tons per hectare. From 2009 to 2011, in three ecological zones of Ukraine, the average yield of marketable grain with standard moisture content amounted to about 10.3 t/ha, and under production conditions — from 10.7 to 12.5 t/ha. The hybrid has proven successful in regions such as Donetsk, Cherkasy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Vinnytsia, Odesa, and Kyiv oblasts, confirming its adaptability and high productivity. Romashka SV seeds are treated with Maxisis XL035 FS and Vitavax, providing additional protection for plants during early development stages. Recommended planting density varies by region: for the forest-steppe — 65-70 thousand plants per hectare, for the Polissia — 70-75 thousand, for the steppe — 55 thousand plants. Due to its characteristics and resistance, the hybrid is suitable for cultivation under various climatic conditions, ensuring a stable and high yield of quality grain.
