Maize Bjork

The Björk corn hybrid is a medium-early trihybrid variety with a vegetation period of about 117 days and FAO 250. It is intended for grain production and is included in the State Register for the Central Chernozem region. Plants reach considerable height with medium-width leaves, allowing the hybrid to be used not only for grain but also for silage. The ear has a cylindrical shape of medium length and diameter, with a medium-length stalk and medium number of rows of kernels. The grain is characterized by an intermediate type, closer to silvery, with orange coloration and medium intensity of anthocyanin pigmentation of the stalk. The Björk hybrid exhibits high resistance to major corn diseases, including ear fusarium, helminthosporium, and cercosporiosis. Additionally, it is resistant to lodging and well-adapted to dry climatic conditions, making it a reliable choice for various agroclimatic zones. The average grain yield is 73.7 c/ha, with a maximum of 105.3 c/ha, indicating high productivity of the variety. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and resistance to adverse factors, the Björk hybrid is a universal solution for farmers seeking quality grain and silage. Its use allows effectively combining high yields with reliable plant protection, contributing to stable production and economic benefit.
