PH 5 GP

PH 5 GP — mid-early corn hybrid with high yield and adapted to Ukrainian climatic conditions. The plant reaches a height of 180–220 cm, with ear attachment height of 130–150 cm. The ear has a cylindrical shape with 16 rows of kernels, each row containing 30–35 kernels. The hybrid is characterized by low grain moisture, facilitating storage and processing. Yield ranges from 73 to 76 centners per hectare depending on weather conditions and soil type.

Corn PH 5 GP exhibits high drought, frost, and resistance to most common diseases, including bacterial blight, fusarium, and helminthosporium. This makes the hybrid a reliable choice for cultivation under various conditions. Kernels are light yellow, large, with increased carotene content, and rich in sugars, proteins, and B2 and PP vitamins, enhancing their nutritional value.

Hybrid PH 5 GP is versatile in use: it is suitable for silage and grain production. Thanks to its excellent taste and high nutritional value, kernels are ideal for processing into corn flakes, dry cereals, corn sticks, and premium grits. Early maturity — from emergence to technical maturity takes 72–80 days — allows effective planning of agronomic activities and ensures stable yields.
