Maize OV116 ASVL

Standard of Russian Breeding: OVI 116 ASVL

The OVI 116 ASVL hybrid represents the result of extensive breeding efforts at the P.P. Lukyanenko National Grain Center. Within the context of the agricultural market, this dent-type hybrid has established itself in the forage production sector, offering farmers consistent performance in regions with standard climatic parameters.

Agronomic Profile and Market Application

As a mid-maturing hybrid, OVI 116 ASVL efficiently utilizes the available heat units to form well-developed ears with a high thousand-kernel weight. Its primary specialization is the production of high-quality feed grain, making it an essential asset for farms with integrated livestock operations.

• Grain Type: Dent-type, characterized by effective moisture loss during the maturation phase.
• Usage: Specifically tailored for high-energy forage production.
• Origin: Developed by the National Grain Center (Russia), ensuring adaptation to regional soil and climatic conditions.

Choosing OVI 116 ASVL is a pragmatic decision for agricultural producers who prioritize proven genetics and stable yields within their feed crop rotation. The hybrid remains a reliable tool for those looking to maintain consistent feed quality while optimizing their grain production workflows.
