Description Odessa 297 MV
Corn hybrid Odessa 297 MV is a high-yielding hybrid recommended for cultivation in steppe and forest-steppe zones of Ukraine. This variety is characterized by stable yield and high profitability, as well as significant cold resistance and drought tolerance. Plants reach a height of 210-270 cm, have 15-18 leaves on the main stem, and exhibit high resistance to lodging and stem breakage, facilitating care and harvest.

The hybrid is medium-maturing with a vegetation period of 118-120 days and is intended for grain and silage production. Grain yield varies by region: in northern steppe areas it reaches 94-100 ц/га, in southern areas — 75-80 ц/га, and in forest-steppe regions it can reach record levels of 143 ц/га. Silage yield is 690-700 ц/га. Grains are yellow, semi-pearled, large, with 16-18 rows, ensuring high product quality. The hybrid demonstrates high heat and drought resistance, as well as resistance to root and stem rot and other diseases.

Odessa 297 MV is distinguished by wide adaptability and optimal plant population density, which promotes maximum utilization of genetic potential. In full maturity, leaves and stems often remain green, making this variety particularly suitable for silage. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and biological features, this hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality corn yields.
