Maize MAYA M

MAYA M — ultra-early, high-yielding sugar corn variety, distinguished by high marketability, transportability, and disease resistance. Plants reach a height of up to 2 meters, forming cylindrical ears 17-19 cm long and weighing up to 200 g. White kernels with high sugar content — up to 25% — make this variety especially attractive for canning and processing. Due to its adaptability, MAYA M is easy to grow under various conditions, ensuring a stable yield as early as 72 days after planting. The variety demonstrates excellent storability and resistance to lodging, which helps preserve ear quality during transport and storage. High resistance to diseases and stress factors such as drought and high temperatures makes MAYA M a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality produce with minimal care requirements. The plant forms a strong stalk, and the first ear typically develops at a height of about 70 cm, facilitating convenient harvest. MAYA M is suitable for various uses: fresh market, processing, freezing, and canning. Seeds are prepared for planting and can be sown directly into open ground or via seedlings. For uniform germination, soil temperature should not be lower than +10 °C. Due to its characteristics, this variety is an excellent choice for intensive and minimal technology cultivation, adapted to various climatic and soil conditions, ensuring stability and high-quality yield.
