MAS 12R

The MAS 12R corn hybrid is an ultra-early grain-type variety with high yield potential, reaching up to 8.8 tons per hectare. This hybrid features a cream-colored, toothed kernel type and an average ear attachment height of about 105 cm. Plants form 14-16 rows of kernels with 26-30 kernels per row, contributing to high productivity. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 260-300 grams, confirming seed quality and density.

MAS 12R is characterized by excellent cold tolerance and is suitable for early planting, which is especially important for regions with variable climates such as the Forest-Steppe and Steppe of Ukraine. The hybrid demonstrates rapid early growth and active early development due to a robust root system, ensuring reliable rooting and resilience to adverse conditions. Germination energy and seedling vigor are high, guaranteeing uniform and even emergence of plants.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to stress factors and diseases, including drought, lodging, fusarium, helminthosporium, and gray mold, with resistance ratings of 7-9 points. Regrowth capacity and green mass retention (Stay Green) are at a moderate level, contributing to stable yield formation. The recommended planting density ranges from 75,000 to 95,000 plants per hectare, depending on moisture conditions, allowing for optimized yield and grain quality.
