Maize LIMBHX 968 C

Consistent Yield and Processing Versatility

When planning crop rotation, the choice often falls on hybrids that don't bring surprises in the field or at the silo. The LIMBBH 968 S from Limagrain is a solution for farmers aiming for results across multiple sectors. This French breeding achievement has proven to be a reliable asset for those producing corn for more than just silage, but also for deep industrial processing.

Growth and Harvesting Characteristics

Mid-maturity hybrids always involve a compromise between yield potential and grain moisture at harvest. With LIMBBH 968 S, you get a predictable maturity window. In practical terms, this simplifies logistics planning: you know exactly when your machinery will hit the field, minimizing drying costs. The yellow-orange grain type fits perfectly into standard processing lines, meeting the requirements of grits mills and feed producers alike.

Why choose this hybrid:

• Versatility: You are not tied to a single market. The grain is equally suitable for animal feed, grits production, and food industry applications.
• Efficiency: Even ripening simplifies combine settings, reducing losses during threshing.
• Stability: The genetics provided by Limagrain and Emilseme S.P.A offer a high level of resilience to environmental stresses, which is critical in volatile climate conditions.

Working with this hybrid, one immediately notices the high output of the final product. It is a classic case where the hybrid is forgiving of minor agronomic errors while maintaining excellent grain quality. For a farmer, this translates to stable margins and trouble-free crop marketing.
