Stability and crop health: the potential of LG 31261

French breeding by Limagrain is synonymous with predictable yields. The mid-early hybrid LG 31261 is designed for farmers who prioritize a clean, healthy crop and a reliable start even in challenging climatic conditions.

A phytosanitary shield

The main strength of LG 31261 lies in its robust resistance to a complex of common diseases. While many mid-early hybrids suffer from Fusarium or Helminthosporium blight, this hybrid maintains a productive leaf surface until harvest. Its strong genetic defense against smut diseases significantly reduces the need for heavy fungicide applications, directly optimizing the cost of grain production.

Agrotechnical flexibility

This hybrid shows excellent adaptability to plant density, allowing for precision in different agro-climatic zones:

• Under favorable moisture conditions: 70,000–85,000 plants/ha to fully unleash yield potential.
• In water-stressed regions: 45,000–55,000 plants/ha to ensure stable yields without the risk of crop failure.

Why choose LG 31261?

This hybrid is ideal for farms focusing on grain production using intensive farming methods. It does not require specific environmental conditions but responds exceptionally well to quality care. Due to its mid-early maturity, LG 31261 effectively escapes late-summer heat, ensuring proper grain filling and reducing drying costs at the end of the season.
