Description KWS KUMPAN
Corn hybrid KWS KUMPAN is a high-yielding, intensive-type hybrid designed for grain production. This variety is characterized by high yield potential, reaching up to 17 tons per hectare, as well as high 1000-grain weight ranging from 350-370 grams. The grain is dent-type, ensuring good quality and suitability for various purposes. Plants reach a height of 280-290 cm, with ears attached at 100-110 cm, and the number of rows varies from 12 to 14, with 35-37 kernels per row. The FAO rating of the hybrid is 290, indicating a medium-late maturity.

Hybrid KWS KUMPAN exhibits rapid water shedding, allowing efficient water utilization and accelerating harvest. The plants have a semi-remontant type with semi-erect leaves, which contributes to good resistance to adverse weather conditions and diseases. Seeds are treated with Maxim XL and FORS ZEA, providing additional protection against pests and diseases during early growth stages.

The variety is adapted to various soil-climatic conditions in Ukraine, including forest-steppe, steppe, and polonie regions. It demonstrates high initial growth and responsiveness to favorable agrofond. Recommended planting density is 70,000 plants per hectare in areas with insufficient water supply and 80,000 per hectare in areas with adequate water. Thanks to these characteristics, KWS KUMPAN is a popular choice among farmers aiming to achieve a stable and high yield of grain corn.
