HSL 1013 is a complex fertilizer specially developed for pre-sowing seed treatment and foliar feeding of corn. It contains a balanced set of macro- and microelements, fully satisfying the nutritional needs of corn. The fertilizer includes nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, as well as microelements in easily assimilated chelated forms such as manganese, copper, zinc, boron, molybdenum, nickel, and cobalt. The fertilizer is fully soluble in water, has a neutral-alkaline pH, and a density of approximately 1180–1280 g/l, ensuring ease of application and effective plant uptake.
Corn, for which HSL 1013 is intended, is an annual plant of the grass family. A distinctive feature of sweet corn is the structure of its kernels, which, during the milk-to-woody ripening stage, become wrinkled and scaly due to the absence of a horny layer and thin shell. At this stage, kernels contain up to 8% sugars, up to 15% starch, as well as proteins, fats, and vitamins of groups B and C, making them especially valuable for human consumption. Yellow-seeded varieties are additionally rich in carotene and mineral salts.
Application of HSL 1013 promotes improved growth and development of corn, enhances plant resistance to adverse conditions, and ensures complete nutrition throughout all growth stages. Recommended application rates are 3–3.5 liters per ton of seeds for pre-sowing treatment and 1–3 liters per hectare for foliar feeding. The shelf life of the product is 24 months, allowing for long-term use without loss of quality.
