Maize Grodno

Yield Stability with NVKF Selekta

The "Grodno" corn variety, offered by NVKF Selekta, is tailored for farmers who prioritize predictable results in temperate climates. Unlike modern intensive hybrids that demand strict adherence to fertilizer protocols, this variety shows greater plasticity and adaptability to soil and climatic fluctuations.

Agronomic Advantages

The main strength of this variety lies in its ability to maintain grain quality even under minimal farming practices. "Grodno" is highly valued for:

• High ripening potential in regions with short growing seasons.
• Lodging resistance, which facilitates harvesting and minimizes field losses.
• Optimal grain moisture release, significantly reducing post-harvest drying costs.

Who is this for?

This variety is an optimal solution for agricultural enterprises operating in high-risk farming zones, where weather conditions may prevent realizing the full genetic potential of ultra-intensive hybrids. "Grodno" is forgiving of common errors in planting schedules, remaining a reliable tool for building feed stocks or commercial grain reserves. While it may trail behind top-tier hybrids in terms of maximum yield potential on rich soils, its economic efficiency, gained through lower production costs per hectare, remains an undeniable argument for small and medium-sized farmers.
