Description GOTTIA
Corn hybrid NK Jitago from Syngenta is a mid-early variety intended for grain and silage production. This variety is characterized by high yield and adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions in Ukraine, including the Polissia, forest-steppe, and steppe regions. Due to its cream-colored, toothed kernel shape, corn better absorbs nutrients and exhibits increased disease resistance. The average number of rows per ear is 14-16, and the starch content in the grain reaches 82%, making it suitable for cereal production.

NK Jitago is characterized by high cold and drought tolerance, allowing it to maintain stable yields even under adverse weather conditions and high temperatures. The variety is resistant to lodging and tolerant to common diseases such as helmintosporiosis, powdery mildew, and stalk rot. The recommended plant density at harvest varies depending on the growing region: up to 90,000 plants per hectare in Polissia, 55-65,000 in the forest-steppe, and 45-55,000 in the steppe zone. The grain yield potential reaches 14 tons per hectare.

For optimal cultivation of the NK Jitago variety, it is recommended to use herbicides Prima (Prius), Ballerina, Maitus, and Milafuron. The seeding rate is 1.1 planting units per hectare for grain production and 1.3 planting units for silage. Due to its agronomic characteristics and resistance to stress factors, this variety is suitable for use in both intensive and extensive farming technologies, ensuring stable and high yields.
