GOLDEN EAR 200 SV

Corn hybrid 'Golden Ear 200 SV' is an early-maturing three-line hybrid developed by Kazakh breeders from the Kazakh Research Institute of Agriculture and Crop Science. Plants reach a height of approximately 191.5 cm and mature within 88-95 days, allowing effective use of this variety under various climatic conditions. The hybrid is distinguished by good cold resistance and drought tolerance, ensuring stable yields even under adverse weather conditions.

The corn cob is of medium length (18-21 cm) and thickness, containing 18-20 rows of dent kernels with yellow coloring on both upper and lower parts. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 245-260 g, and the grain yield reaches 80-81%. The grain yield is approximately 12.7 centners per hectare. The plant has medium-width leaves and weak anthocyanic coloring of the first leaf sheath. The variety is characterized by high resistance to lodging and diseases, confirmed by the absence of pest or pathogen damage.

Corn 'Golden Ear 200 SV' is used for producing grain feed, suitable for both animal nutrition and human food processing. The grain quality indicators include protein content of 10.4%, starch 70.1%, and fat 4.0%, making this variety valuable for various applications. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, this variety is recommended for cultivation in central, Volga-Vyatka, Central Chernozem, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, and Western Siberian regions.
