EC Limes

Corn ES Limes is a versatile hybrid designed for cultivation in various climatic conditions of Ukraine. This variety is characterized by high adaptability to medium and extensive cultivation technologies, making it attractive for a broad range of farmers. The hybrid has high initial growth energy, a strong root system, and rapid early development, which contributes to successful rooting and resilience to adverse environmental factors. ES Limes exhibits drought tolerance, lodging resistance, and good water shedding during maturity, ensuring a stable and high yield. The ES Limes hybrid has high yield potential, achieving up to 135 centners per hectare at 35% grain moisture. The plant reaches a height of about 280 cm, and the ear forms at approximately one meter above ground. Due to its cold tolerance, corn withstands low temperatures, enabling successful early planting and effective utilization of spring-winter soil moisture reserves. The hybrid is resistant to diseases such as rust, fusarium, and helminthosporiosis, and positively responds to fertilizer application without requiring complex care. The grain of ES Limes corn has a cream-toothed type, providing excellent taste qualities and making the hybrid suitable for both grain and silage purposes. Recommended for cultivation in northern regions of Ukraine, including Polissia, Forest Steppe, and Northern Steppe, with optimal planting dates at temperatures of +10 °C or above. Planting density should be 80-95 thousand plants per hectare. Consider the hybrid’s sensitivity to herbicides in the 2,4-D group, which is crucial for proper crop care and protection.
