Maize ES KATAMARAN

French Breeding for Grain Yield Excellence

The EC Katamaran corn hybrid from Euralis Semences represents a high-performance solution for producers focused on maximizing grain output. As a simple hybrid, it offers outstanding uniformity, a critical factor for achieving consistent yield metrics across diverse field conditions.

Key Technical Specifications

• FAO 390 (Mid-Late Maturity): This maturity group allows the plant to leverage the entire growing season, optimizing the grain filling phase to achieve high thousand-kernel weight.
• Simple Hybrid Structure: The genetic integrity of the hybrid ensures synchronous development and maturation, which simplifies harvest logistics and reduces field losses.
• Grain-Oriented Use: The selection focus for EC Katamaran prioritizes ear morphology and kernel quality, ensuring high shelling percentage and efficient moisture release at maturity.

The technical core of EC Katamaran lies in its superior early-growth vigor. This physiological trait allows the crop to establish a robust root system quickly, providing an advantage in early-season resource uptake. The structural integrity of the plant ensures excellent standability, reducing the risk of lodging even in high-intensity farming environments.

For the agronomist, EC Katamaran offers a reliable, predictable performance profile. Its ability to adapt to varying soil types when supported by precise fertilization and plant density management makes it a premium asset for commercial grain farming. The genetic advancements in the parent lines contribute to the overall resilience of the plant, ensuring that yield potential is protected against common environmental stresses.
