ES 7506

ES 7506 — a high-yielding hybrid of corn of medium-late maturity group (FAO-380), intended for grain and silage production. Plants reach an average height of about 256 cm, with a strong stalk and well-developed root system, ensuring resistance to lodging. The ear forms at a height of approximately 107 cm above the ground, has a length of 16-18 rows of kernels, with about 32 kernel-like seeds in each row. The average 1000-kernel weight is 360 grams, and the test weight of the grain reaches 800 g/l, indicating high-quality yield.

The hybrid demonstrates high adaptability to various soil-climatic conditions, including steppes and forest-steppe regions, and can consistently show high yields under different cultivation conditions. ES 7506 exhibits excellent drought resistance, especially during flowering, as well as high compensatory ability and rapid early growth. Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid is suitable for double cropping and monoculture cultivation.

In addition, ES 7506 possesses high resistance to common corn diseases such as fusarium, rust, gray and root rot, as well as immunity to helminthosporium. The hybrid is also resistant to pests and heat during flowering, further enhancing the stability and quality of the yield. The recommended planting density is 55-70 thousand plants per hectare, which helps maximize the hybrid’s potential.
