FASTCORN 400 MV

The hybrid corn Fastcorn 400 MV is a late-maturing variety intended for grain production. The plant is characterized by its high stature and distinctive anthocyanic root coloration at the stem base, as well as strong tassel sheath pigmentation. The hybrid's vegetation period is approximately 110 days, allowing it to thrive successfully in the North Caucasus region. Average grain yield reaches 63.5 centners per hectare, indicating high productivity of the variety.

A key feature of the hybrid is its high individual plant mass, but an increase in planting density results in reduced cob mass and overall yield. The optimal planting density for maximum green and dry biomass production, as well as biogas output, is approximately 90,000 plants per hectare. This is important to consider when planning crops to achieve optimal results in both grain and biomass production.

Moreover, research shows that intercropping Fastcorn 400 MV with sugarcane sorghum significantly increases green biomass yield and biogas output. In such intercrops, green biomass yield reaches 85.5 tons per hectare, and biogas output amounts to 10,300 cubic meters per hectare. These figures confirm the effectiveness of using this hybrid in agronomic practices aimed at producing both grain and biogas products.
