Maize LG 3490

LG 3490 corn is a high-yielding hybrid with dual-purpose use, designed for producing both silage and grain. This mid-late maturing hybrid with dent-type kernels is characterized by high potential for green mass and grain yield, as well as rapid dry matter accumulation. High starch content in the grain and excellent fiber digestibility (NDF) ensure the production of high-energy silage with superior quality, which is especially important for professional milk producers.

LG 3490 corn plants reach a height of about 260 cm, with ears containing an average of 16-18 rows of kernels and 35 kernels per row. The hybrid is resistant to lodging and drought, making it a reliable choice for regions with long growing seasons and varying moisture conditions. Recommended planting density varies depending on the moisture zone: 75-80 thousand plants per hectare in adequately moist zones and 70-75 thousand in less moist zones.

LG 3490 is recommended for professional milk producers due to its high quality and stable yield. This hybrid enables efficient silage and grain harvest, providing high feed energy value and contributing to improved livestock productivity.
