The corn ear is short, thin, and weakly conical, with a medium-length stalk and few rows of kernels. The grain of variety EG 7031 X EG 7169 belongs to the intermediate type, closer to siliceous, with yellow-orange coloring on the upper part and orange on the lower part. The absence of anthocyanic coloring on the ear stalk highlights its purity and quality.
