Description EG 3014
The EG 3014 corn hybrid is a medium-early variety with a maturity group of FAO 320, intended for grain production. Plants reach an average height of 240-250 cm and possess a strong root system, ensuring good nutrition and water supply even under drought conditions. The cylindrical ear, approximately 31 cm long, contains 16-18 rows of yellow-orange dent kernels, with a 1000-kernel weight of about 390 g. Due to its rapid moisture release, the kernels reduce drying time and preparation for storage, enhancing harvest efficiency.

The hybrid exhibits high drought and low-temperature tolerance, making it adaptable to various soil-climate conditions, including the forest-steppe and steppe zones of Ukraine. Plants have a medium-thick stem with sufficient strength to withstand strong winds. The recommended planting density before harvest varies by region: from 45 to 65 thousand plants per hectare, which contributes to achieving maximum yields of up to 14 tons per hectare.

Special attention has been given to the hybrid's resistance to diseases and pests. EG 3014 possesses strong immunity protecting plants against diseases such as gray leaf spot, diplodia, white rot, rust, fusarium, and root rot. To maintain stable yields, integrated agronomic practices are recommended, including pest, weed, and pathogenic microorganism control. Seed is packaged in 80,000 kernels per multi-layer paper bag, ensuring convenient storage and transportation.
