Maize 92 IR

Early-maturing performance for efficient farming

The «92 IR» corn hybrid, developed by Ooo Niir Iragro, is engineered for agricultural operations where a short growing season is a defining factor. This early-maturing variety allows producers to mitigate the risks of early autumn frosts, ensuring a timely harvest and clearing the fields early enough to prepare for subsequent winter crop rotations.

Agronomic features and grain quality

The «92 IR» is categorized as a hybrid with an intermediate grain type, exhibiting yellow dent characteristics. This specific grain structure provides high density and an excellent starch profile, making it a versatile choice for both animal feed applications and grain processing industries.

• Reliable Maturation: The early ripening cycle guarantees steady grain filling, even in regions with challenging late-summer weather patterns.
• Operational Efficiency: High crop uniformity significantly optimizes combine harvester settings, minimizing field losses and improving overall throughput.
• Genetic Potential: Developed by Ooo Niir Iragro and breeder Georgy Valeryevich Dzgoev, this hybrid is built to withstand local climatic stressors, delivering consistent results.

Field application and strategy

In practice, the «92 IR» hybrid responds exceptionally well to intensive management and balanced fertilization programs. One of its standout practical advantages is its superior dry-down rate; as the grain matures, it loses moisture rapidly, leading to substantial energy cost savings during the drying process. For farmers focused on optimizing their logistics and reducing the cost of production, this hybrid offers a clear advantage by enabling an early harvest window while maintaining high grain quality.
