DKS 3102

DKS 3102 — a high-yielding mid-early hybrid corn, intended for grain production. It features a dent kernel type and belongs to the maturity group with FAO 240. The hybrid is characterized by high stability and plasticity, well-adapted to various soil-climatic conditions, including light soils, and capable of withstanding low temperatures, ensuring successful cultivation in the Polissia and Steppe zones of Ukraine. Recommended for cultivation under medium to high levels of mineral nutrition, as well as suitable for traditional and minimal tillage systems. DKS 3102 exhibits high drought and lodging resistance, with ratings of 8 points, and high tolerance to Fusarium (9 points). The hybrid demonstrates strong initial growth energy and maintains uniform emergence under varying conditions. It tolerates monoculture and requires timely harvest for maximum efficiency. The hybrid has good moisture shedding, facilitating rapid grain drying and harvesting. Recommended planting density depends on moisture availability: under sufficient moisture, optimal density is 70-80 thousand plants per hectare; under insufficient moisture — 60-70 thousand plants per hectare. Yield reaches 86 centners per hectare at grain moisture of 12-13%. Due to its characteristics, DKS 3102 is a reliable choice for adaptive corn cultivation technologies, ensuring high productivity and resistance to adverse factors.
