The hybrid corn Diana 180 SV is a high-yielding variety intended for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including Steppe and Polissia. Plants reach a height of 230–240 cm, have 14 leaves on the main stalk, and do not form bushy growth. The ear has a weakly conical shape, 20–22 cm long, with 14–16 rows of kernels, each row containing 34–36 kernels. The kernels are yellow-orange with a red base, and the ear stalk is red. The ear stalk length is medium, from 10.1 to 20 cm, and the ear shape is conical-cylindrical, 15–18 cm long. Grain yield at harvest reaches 81%, starch content — 70%. The hybrid exhibits moderate anthocyanin pigmentation in various parts of the plant: first leaf sheath, base of the husk, and aerial roots. Anthocyanin pigmentation of the silk is absent. Ear husk of medium density. Time of full flowering and silk emergence is medium, contributing to stable plant development and grain maturation. The hybrid seeds show good resistance to major diseases and pests, particularly corn leaf blight, as well as to stress factors such as drought and lodging. Diana 180 SV is characterized by high plasticity and stable yield, making it a popular choice among farmers. Recommended planting density varies by region: for Steppe — 55–60 thousand plants per hectare, for Forest Steppe — 70–75 thousand, for Polissia — 75–90 thousand plants per hectare. The hybrid demonstrates lodging and stem break resistance rated at 7 out of 9 points, as well as good drought tolerance and resistance to major pests and diseases, ensuring reliability and high productivity under various agroclimatic conditions.
