Maize Diana 180 SV

Optimizing Grain Production with «Diana 180 SV»

For agricultural enterprises prioritizing consistent yield and high starch content, the "Diana 180 SV" corn hybrid offers a reliable solution. Developed through the collaboration of the Institute of Grain Crops (Ukraine) and the Steppe Agro-Corporation, this hybrid is designed for growers who require a predictable return on their investment in grain production.

Field Application and Seeding Density

The standout feature of "Diana 180 SV" is its flexibility regarding population density. Depending on the soil moisture and fertility levels, agronomists can adjust the seeding rate ranging from 55,000 to 90,000 plants per hectare. This makes it a versatile choice for both intensive farming on irrigated lands and standard rain-fed conditions.

Productivity and Plant Health

Key technical specifications ensure high crop safety and quality:

• Disease Resistance: Notable resistance to common smut (Ustilago maydis), reducing losses during the maturation stage.
• Crop Protection: Engineered to manage threats like onion stem smut, ensuring safety in diverse crop rotations.
• Grain Quality: A 70% starch content provides excellent value for both the animal feed industry and industrial processing.

By selecting "Diana 180 SV," farmers can efficiently match their seeding strategy to the specific agronomic profile of their fields, ensuring high-quality grain output with managed risk factors.
