Maize DA 44 VS, ZM

Field Performance: Insights into "DA 44 VS, ZM"

When working with seed stock from SSC "Zolotoy pochatok - Pavlovsky," the first thing you notice is the consistency of their genetic material. "DA 44 VS, ZM" is a versatile hybrid that performs reliably under proper management practices. As a dent-type corn with characteristics suitable for popcorn processing, it requires attention to planting density to maximize yield potential.

Operational Guidelines

In practice, we recommend maintaining a row spacing of 60-70 cm to ensure optimal nutrient uptake and airflow, which is critical for crop health. Because this is a mid-early maturing hybrid, it provides a predictable window for harvest, helping to mitigate weather-related risks. Key factors for field operators include:

• Versatile Application: The hybrid is equally effective for grain, silage, or processing into grits, making it a flexible asset for diversified farms.
• Ease of Harvesting: The uniform ear development simplifies combine settings, reducing header losses significantly.
• Grain Quality: The dent grain type features excellent dry-down rates, which helps reduce post-harvest moisture management costs.

For those managing the crop, "DA 44 VS, ZM" responds well to intensive fertilization programs. It is a robust option that values structural soil preparation and early-season monitoring. By adhering to the recommended planting densities, you can expect a stable performance that aligns with the specific FAO requirements and the manufacturer's genetic potential.
