CMS 3999 — a high-yielding corn hybrid, distinguished by good drought and low-temperature tolerance. This mid-maturing hybrid with FAO 320 is the leader in yield within its maturity group and is intended for grain production. Plants reach a height of 220-250 cm, have a dent-type kernel with starch content exceeding 72%, and a 1000-kernel weight of 300-350 grams. The number of rows on the ear varies from 14 to 18, with 38 to 44 kernels per row.

The hybrid demonstrates high initial growth energy and adapts well to various soil-climatic conditions, making it especially suitable for cultivation in the Polissia and Steppe regions of Ukraine. Recommended planting density depends on moisture conditions: from 60,000-65,000 plants per hectare in dry conditions to 70,000-80,000 plants in well-watered conditions. Sowing can be conducted at soil temperatures of 8 °C or higher.
