Maize Bonfire

Corn Bonfire is a medium-early hybrid variety intended for fodder corn cultivation. Plants reach an average height of about 280 cm, with ears positioned at approximately 130 cm. The ear is long, thick, and slightly conical, containing an average of 14-16 rows of kernels, with 38 to 42 kernels per row. Kernel type is intermediate, closer to flinty, with yellow-orange coloring on the upper part and orange on the lower. The 1000-kernel weight is about 360 g, indicating high seed density and quality. The Bonfire hybrid is characterized by high yield and stability across various climatic conditions. Potential yield reaches 170 c/ha, while average yield in cultivation regions is about 100 c/ha. The vegetative period is approximately 116 days, allowing this variety to be used in medium-early sowings. The plant has a medium leaf angle, straight, slightly curved medium-width leaves, and weak anthocyanic stem and root coloration. Tassel flowering occurs early, contributing to timely grain maturity. Corn seeds of Bonfire are produced by Semillas Fito and carry quality certifications, guaranteeing their high productivity and adaptability. This hybrid is widely used in agriculture for feed purposes, as well as in the food industry and animal husbandry. Due to its characteristics, Bonfire is suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones, ensuring a stable and high yield, making it a profitable choice for farmers and agrarians.
